Schoolwork

We have two semesters in a year. The first semester is April through September. The second semester is October through March. First and Second year students attend lessons with their homeroom class, but third year students attend lessons with other students who have chosen the same courses. Third year students have to choose one of four different streams with a humanities focus and with a science focus.(Ⅰα,1β,Ⅱα,Ⅱβ)
Each period is 70 minutes long. We have three periods in the morning and one or two in the afternoon. Classes are run on a two week repeating schedule.
